This is the case even when flickr is off. It does not matter if its "read only operation" (seeing pictures in albums) or a "read & write operation" (importing pictures from a camera).

It seems that whenever, Photo albums are accessed by android or other apps, Flickr crashes. I've had the "Flickr has stopped" message in other apps since December on my Moto G6 and as of today (Jan 23rd) I when I try to upload an image I get the same message an no upload. They are running the latest build - 46534. I am using build 46533 on Samsung Note 8.I know somebody with Note 8 and asked them to see if they can use Flickr and it runs just fine.

Turn off auto updates in play store, uninstall flickr, download and install this apk. I have just refreshed Android OS and the Flickr is still crashing and the uploader not uploading any new photos. They got back in touch with me, forwarding the issue to their engineers to work out.
